We have had a number of enquiries for Ziggy but nobody yet quite fits with how we would like Ziggy to be looked after. As was said previously he is a one year old collie microchipped and vaccinated, and has recently been neutered. He has a very attractive coat and is smaller than he looks. He was in the process of being trained as a sheepdog when he was rehomed. We feel he needs to be with someone who loves the collie cross breed. Most of his behaviour is very like the collie. He has puppyish traits that need redirection. He is needy of affection and does calm down quite quickly under the right direction. He is still very much a pup, full of energy and tricks! He needs to understand his boundaries. He would be far better suited to a rural setting. He would do well with a person, people who likes / like to walk, to take exercise and who have the time to interact with Ziggy. He has lived with teenagers and even younger but we think he would be better suited to older teenagers, adults because of his youthful energy. He has always got on well with other dogs but he is at the stage where he needs to be directed to feel secure. He travels easily in a car. In an ideal world, someone who loves collies would be the perfect owner. If you would be interested, please phone 087 961 6586 Thanks!
